Community Guidelines
The Campus Feed is a community. It works best when people treat each other the way they'd want to be treated themselves.
Be respectful
Disagreement is fine. Debate is fine. Criticism is fine. Harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, and personal attacks are not.
Don't use the Feed to hurt someone
Don't post something for the purpose of humiliating, injuring, threatening, or targeting another person. Don't encourage other people to pile on, harass, or intimidate someone.
Respect people's privacy
Don't share another person's private information, private messages, photos, or other personal material without permission.
Be yourself
Don't impersonate another person or deliberately misrepresent who you are. And while you're at it, be who you are. As Oscar Wilde has often been misquoted as saying, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
Don't abuse the Feed
Don't spam the community, attempt to defraud other members, interfere with the operation of the site, or use the Feed primarily to disrupt the community.
Help make it useful
Post things that have a reasonable connection to your campus community. Ask questions. Share information. Promote something you're doing. Sell something. Look for something. Start a conversation. The more people contribute something useful, the more useful the Feed becomes for everyone.
We may step in
The Campus Feed may remove content or restrict access when necessary to protect the community, enforce these guidelines, and keep the platform functioning as intended.
